This interview has been done by a french TV. It’s one of the unsual that we can be found because Maras know that ther do illegals things. It’s in their interests that the TV have no proof but this time « Jester » accepr to talk :

He explains how works MS13 in the streets.

« We have always to be watchful and wakeful cause we never know who can have a gun. »

For him rival gangs are a constant threat. He is ready to kill to défend his territory. He is twenty but ha is already a former. With his band he control eleven neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

« If someone come on OUR terretory he have to die. Even if I am lonely I’ll kill him myself. »

And that’s not idle talk Jester well knows that violence is the first lesson they learn to enter in the band and he was only eight years old whn he undergo the ritual of initiation.

Branda talks too : « There are 3 main rules when we enter in MS13 recrute news members, have to kill someone and make money for the gang ».

When he kills for the first time he was nine in five or six shoots and after he continue to walk.

« You need to kill to gain respect ».

Jester band represent sixty three persons. Jester kills more than twenty people of rival gangs who wants to have more territory. And people have to pay to sale in their territory. They do graffitis to recognize their neighborhoods but the city prohibit it.

But that confessions are not free… Three weeks after this report Jester dies.
