The wedding between the lovely Kate Middleton and William of Wales of course ! Everyone’s talking about it, and that gave ideas to advertising executives (here). I don’t think tomorrow’s gonna be so … fun ?

Very stylish (as always) and in exclusivity for Foot Locker, discover the brand new Nike Air Max Lunar, and the brand new ad here. The young football prodigy Mario Balotelli (who obviously prefers shoes to shirts…) invites us in his Manchester’s apartment, in weightlessness in order to illustrate the shoe’s lightness… Bellisimo !

Pulco brings the heat !

For many years now, Pulco has been considered as a fresh summer drink for lazy people overcomed by the heat. Every year, the brand broadcast a spot with a Mexican boy who could’nt stand working in summer, hence their famous slogan : «It’s to hot to work !».

But this year, the new campain is totally different. The spot shows five girls wearing fur coats and gloves in the desert. During all this video they’re singing about the heat and dancing around warmer.

The message ? In spite of the heat, those girls stay as fresh as the drink. Although this commercial is quiet good,  people has been very disappointed because the campain doesn’t match with the Pulco identity at all.

Renault : Facebook «Likes» in real life !

The french brand has offered the chance to «liking» their products as people does on Facebook, in real life !

At their stand in the AutoRAI Motorshow, they dispose smartcards to allow visitors to connect on Facebook. If someone liked one of the Renault cars, his choice would be automatically posted on his facebook wall.

Renault had a great idea, because they presented their cars to visitors and all visitors facebook friends in the same time.

Coca-Cola is 125 !

To celebrate it 125 years, Coca-Cola will do the job properly ! It certainly is a special occasion for the brand to show consumers that they’re still the most efficient advertisers in the world.

First of all, Coca-Cola brings out a new design for large size bottles. That’s not the first time they changes the packaging of their products. Actually, it has been creating 39 different bottles since its creation in 1886.

To promote this new bottle, Coca-Cola is broadcasting a new spot :

Moreover, Coca-Cola customizes anew their packagings. After Daft Punk and Karl Lagerfeld, James Jarvis, a british illustrator, has designed a set of Coca-Cola cans. This products will be sold only in USA.

A lot of campains are going to follow up this coming year, Coca-Cola will certainly take advantage of this anniversary to be talked in medias.

This video by the brand Skittles was not on the TV but it was posted on Youtube. The goal is to create a buzz to increase the fame of the brand Skittles. Until today, 3 220 244 persons like have seen this video.

Skittles let the suspense, indeed they just say one thing : “Put your finger on the screen and touch the rainbow. A cute but weird kitty cat will like it…”

I don’t say more about it, just test it and enjoy!

Happy inside: IKEA cats’ Advertising

The British Mother London Agency proposed IKEA a very new way of communicating about his values, based on innovation and confort. They proposed the company to let more than a hundred cats, move around over an owl part of the Wembley’s bookshop, in London. They also wanted top pick up cats than weren’t trained, so that the ad could be much more realistic.

The main idea of the campaign was to anounce that « everywhere a cat feel fine, his owner can feel fine too ».

The ad finally is incredibly subtle, soft and quiet, which gives everyone want to have his own home, Made In Sweden.

Even if this advertising were only available in Great-Britain during last autumn, I really wanted to add a new post about it because I think it is incredibly pleasant to look at it, as the images are just amazing !

Volkswagen: The Force

For it’s new Passat, Volkswagen tries to play with humour and culte by using the Star Wars and Dark Vador’s image.

Let’s imagine a ten-year-old boy, wearing a Dark Vador’s costume, trying to defy  his bicycle, his dog or even his little sister’s doll. Only the new Volkswagen’s Passa twill finally defy his strenght.

We can notice that, even if the Star Wars’ characters have already been used a hundred times, that one is particularly fun and original !

This ad has been spread for the 1st time on the 6th of February, during the SuperBowl.

New campaign for the Gallics !

affiche asterix1Parc Asterix launch its new campaign for its reopening the April 9 next.

The parc wanted to change its way to communicate and assert themselves through a new advertising campaign. This campaign brokes with the older and uses Gallic humour.

It appealed to the agency Extrême to create this campaign. ” This new campaign gives up the highlighting of Asterix and Obelix and proposes to turn the lever comparison without denigrate its competitors ” said the agency. They use humour to comparate Disneyland Paris.

This campaign declines in radio, press, posters and naturally on web.
