The Aquarium Sea Life in Netherlands chose a very funny way to make its promotion. The Agency Fresh Green Ads imagined a campaign which only appears with the water. A logo illustrated by an octopus is painted on the floor but it is only visible when it rains. The operation named “Raincampaign” is ecological. It’s a strategic choice for a park which defends fauna and flora.

Bye Bye Accessories !

Last 28th of April, Colgate made a street marketing campaign in Paris to launch its new product : Colgate MaxWhite One. Girls in the street or  in the metro had to take off their accessories to only emphasize their smile. People around them were surprised so that was a very good way to Colgate to arouse curiosity and promote its toothpaste. Bag, ear rings, jacket, bracelet, each object thrown was a chance to win a trip around the world.

With Colgate, your smile is your most beautiful accessory !

Animated GIF: POLO’s “troustories”

The GIF is a Graphics Intechange Format. It’s a little animated picture used a lot on Myspace, blogs, websites.

POLO’s candies were very famous in the 80’s. They are very well known for their round white shape with a hole in it. POLO’s candies are back in France with a new advertising campaign. For this campaign they play with the retro-vintage style and a very old school look. (see on the website: troustories.com ) Some animated GIF show candies used in different funny and grotesque situations.

Indeed you can see the liberty statue of New York making hula hoop with a candy, a Russian girl wearing a POLO Candy as a hat, drum made of POLO Candy.

The 100th birthday of Nivea!!

In order to celebrate its 100th birthday, the german brand of cosmetics  Nivea invested  and transformed 6 carriages of a train. This train will cross 14 cities of France from april the 28th till may the 17th beginning by Paris. Those carriages were converted by the brand to permit public to discover the products and the brand story.

The brand wanted to mark the occasion for this event. In fact, this cream created by doctor Oskar troplowitz in 1911 permitted to make cosmetics affordable. Today, the brand is distributed in 200 countries and 100 millions of creams were spread in 2010.

Moreover, Nivea knew how to surround itself with good arguments as the american singer Rihanna put as brand’s ambassador.

A race launched by Version Femina magazine

Version Femina magazine launched a sporty events on may the 8Th in Paris to help prevention about breast cancer and screening. The challenge will be launched in other cities as Strasbourg on june the 26th and in Bordeaux on october the 23th.

the challenge consists of a running race of 5 or 10 kilometers organized by Stars events agency. Moreover,  orchestration’s stands will be set up for participants around prevention and screening themes.

3 euros of cost of participation will be transferred to the Assocation to contribute to screening actions.  The newspaper editor of Version Femina Constance Poniatowski declared that this challenge aims at gathering and touching most of people.

How to enjoy Vienne in Paris

From 5th May to 18th May, Vienne has the place of honnor in Gare Saint Lazare for the launch of the new promoting campaign. The agency Media Transports-Metrobus elaborated the content and the set up the action.

A tarpaulin of 125 m² is extended on the most seeing wall of the station. 6.000.000 viewers are expecting during the operation. During the week, spectators are able to see a live performance between 9.30 am and 12.30 am. When you are in front of the tarpaulin, you hear waltzes of famous artists such as Strauss and a leader – to tell the truth an actor – ensures the ambience and the infatuation around the event. Hostesses also distribute flyers and postcards to encourage people to come and visit the city.

Coca Cola “Space 125″

To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Coca Cola is setting in Paris, Rue de la Boétie, next to Champs-Elysées. “Space 125″ is divided in 4 different universes : The Gallery, The anniversary-loft, The Restaurant and The Shop. The famous american beverages firm will welcome the 11 millions expected visitors from the 29th of April to the 26 of June. Indeed, more than 500 000 people visit the Champs Elysées each day of the week and 1,6 during the week-end. The agency Vaudoo organizes the event.

CHANEL CREATE EVENT ON CROISETTE

Image 1On May 7, Chanel will open the doors of a temporary store near the Palais des Festivals. In an atmosphere dominated by sumptuous black and gold, this space of 300 m2 will host a makeup bar and a nail bar. it will present a selection of ready-to-Wear Spring-Summer 2011, and previewed some models from the Paris-Byzantine collection. The store will also exhibit dresses and suits worn by actresses, faithful to Chanel. (temporary Chanel Boutique, 6 Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes – From 7 to 22 May 2011)

Evian: Babies are back! … in music

Evian launches a new international campaign dealing with babies! Do you remember of the successful advertising with babies on rollers? Evian and BETC Euro RSCG do it again with “Baby insie”. They keep using the same principle: Evian makes you express your own youth.

The video is a stop motion of women and men portraits wearing the “Live young” T-shirt. Thanks to the scrolling pictures, it seems that the t shirt is moving and a dancing baby appears.

This ad music is DJ Mehdi and Uffie’s one, called “Wordy Rappinghood”.

To go with the campaign the web site letsbabydances.evian.com and the iPhone application called « baby dance » allow you to take yourself in picture and to take part in the longer video clip record!
