Have you enough of cars, noise and all the excitement for several weeks ? We propose you a few days in a special countryside.
Established in the middle of the Dordogne, the town Perigueux invites you.The Perigord is a magnificent region which offers you the possibility to visit many different caves such as Lascaud, huge castles as Beynac ; you can have a walk through the marvellous city Brantôme and have a taste of the regional products such as foie gras and duck steaklet. It’s also essential to make a tour to the Vendoire Peat Bogs which is a well known and pleasant sight for a family trip. And don’t forget there’s an old car race in Vendoire too.

Come and join us, we’ll wait for you with a cold sausage and a glass of red wine.

If you can’t go away Paris during the holidays, Paris plage is made for you. The concept is very original, you can find to the 20 of july at the 20 of august, a real beach at quays of the Seine. You gone find sand, palm tree, deckchairs…and probably some sun.

More over during this period Paris Plage organize many activities, concerts… they do everything for you to have fun.

The more important activities are sports, you can dance, play tennis, swim..

For not depressed in Paris during holidays go to Paris plage.

On the occasion of All in the Opera 2011: the operas of France open free of charge their doors on May 7th and 8th. It is the opportunity for all in particular the children to come to discover to the decoration of the opera and its jobs on the occasion of visits of wings, public repetitions or meetings with the artists and the technicians. This 5th edition gives a good place to the hopes of the Opera and intends to value the ” young ears ” by attempting to make sensitive the young generations and the greenhorns in the opera.

Born in 2001 to Soho, “Art Battles” arrives for the first time in the hexagon, and more exactly on the scene of the Forum of the Halle, from April 27th till May 7th, 2011.

From Wednesday, April 27th till Saturday, May 7th, 2011, French and American artists will dash in the form of ” battles “, artistic challenges on the scene of the Square Place of the Forum of the Halle.

Livened up by two masters of ceremonies, these ” live performances ” 100 % ” Street-art ” will be given rhythm by 4 DJ and the votes of the public, who, plunged in the heart of the artistic creation, will indicate the best paintings!

For the lover of the country and his new culture, the japan expo gone answer to your envy.

It start the 30 of june and finish the 3 of july, at Parc des exposition of Paris nord Villepinte.

It one of the big european event who is consecrate to the culture of Japan.

You can discovered many things like music, fashion, manga, eat …

The exposition is more about the new culture of japan than the traditional.

There gone a be a lot of animations and activities, but also many mangaka.

For entry it’s between 9 and 15 euros.

HAIRSPRAY

Incredible, but true: the French adaptation of Hairspray is finally going to make its debuts in our capital!

The Casino of Paris will welcome from April 26th, 2011 this musical which triumphed to Broadway and in West End.

The task will not be easy to transpose this show overflowing with enthusiasm and with energy in the language of Molière, especially since public French already has for reference Adam Shankman’s film version, taken out in 2007 .

The musical took away a frank success in New York then in London, as well as in the other numerous countries let us hope that he is the same for the French version.

30 years of “La fête de la musique”.

Completely different from a music festival, the Fête de la Musique is above all a free popular fête, open to any participant (amateur or professional musicians) who wants to perform in it. This Music day allows the expression of all styles of music in a cheerful atmosphere. It aims at a large audience, working to popularise musical practice for young and not so young people from all social backgrounds. It gives an opportunity to communicate and share a very special moment through music.

The musicians are asked to perform for free, and all the concerts are free for the public. It’s the reason why they are used to play in open air areas as streets and parks or in public buildings like museums, train stations, castles… Furthermore, the Fête de la Musique is a way to encourage the major music institutions (orchestra, operas, choirs, etc.) to perform outside their usual locations.

So the 21 of june, go on the streets of Paris and discovered many groups, in all over the city.
