I really love this song because it brings you in several differents worlds which join in a wonderful melody.
The songs lasts 16 minutes but you never get bored because the rhythm takes you completely.

The only criticism to this song is at its end…very scary.
Indeed, the last universe of the song is in a hospital, Oppressive and very surprising.

But it is also part of the originality of Archive, which is a band of changing workforce whose musical style is difficult to define, the group borrowed elements as well as the electro, rock and trip hop.

Listen to this song alone, at night and before going to bed but be careful, stop it in the 15th minutes or you may be surprised…

The song, which is relaxed and quiet in its original version, earns the typical treatment of The Knocks here, which keeps the weather down there but when it comes to the chorus puts to break everything with synthesizers that will literally leave you euphoric (”pumped”) for the weekend.

Flying Lotus (Steven Ellison was born), a native of Los Angeles, California, is a producer of hip-hop and experimental disc jockey.
This group is not well known in France but begin to become appreciate.
This song (Rest Ez) is in the register of trip hop: he has a hip hop beat and a melody on the piano which makes the music very original and enjoyable.

A good mix of genres.
I recommend to listen to this song alone or to wake up in the morning because the pace is very lounge.

As said Stevie Wonder “Music at its essence is what gives us memories.”, this song represent perfectly summer memories.  You can almost feel the sand and hear the gull. I’m from Barcelona is a swedish band reprensent by more than 25 artists. It can explain the intensity of the melody, an incredible number of sound come to procure us 3 min of calm down.

Young Dreams is a a nice visual and musical creation. It bring you in an awke dream and you come back in your childhood.

With them you’ll want to « live forever » in  wonderland. The clip is representing with magic the fear, the waiting and the occupation of the child without their parents. Little moment in weightlessness thanks to Young dreams and the réalisation of Kristoffer Brogli. « Flight 376 » is another little jewel of the band.

Metronomy is an electro pop and house electronic band of music from England.
Their new album is called “The English Riviera” and is quite good because it offers a large choice of music always refreshing and dynamic.

I really appreciate “Corrine” because the song has a catchy beat and speak about love in an other way, more modern and less pessimistic.

All in all, i really think that this song is the perfect summer song !

The Shoes, is a  French electro pop duo composed of two boys : Guillaume and Ben…

Since they released their first album named Crack My Bones in March, we only talk about themselves : on television, magazine…

In order to speak more for themselves, they released a sample video clip: Cover My Eyes. The title refers to the concept of the video. Indeed, you need watch the video clip with closed eyes. But for this, you must have a webcam. After that, you follow the instruction and when you are ready, the music begin. But don’t forget that if you want to listen the music, you must always  have your closed eyes.

When you decide to stop and open his eyes, the musics stop, and you enter in an other world where images are stressful.
