February was the month of “Born This Way” (first single from the eponym album of Lady Gaga – her third (or second) album).
After 6 weeks at the first place of Bilboard Hot 100 in the US, the new single “Judas” came in April (but it is unfortunately not the success of Born This Way).
The clip came a few days ago on Youtube and at the TV (world premiere on E! US) and it was already viewed almost 10 million times. It should be said that Lady Gaga’s clips are always very expected. (She becomes the first artist to reached 1 billion viewed on Youtube !)
Moreover, she has just finished the Monster Ball Tour after 210 shows. It’s the biggest tour for a new artist and one of the biggest tour in the history of music.
Lady Gaga will release her song “The Edge of Glory” as a promo single on iTunes tonight, to start the countdown to Born This Way, in stores May 23rd.
It’s Lady Gaga’s Month (and Year) !

“Tous à l’Opéra”, that’s the name of a big european cultural event this weekend.
“Tous à l’Opéra” (All to the Opera) is the explicit ambition of the Réunion des Opéras de France (ROF) and of the european’s Operas - of which Bratislava, Dublin, Skopje or Sofia among the new comers -, who, Saturday and Sunday, open their doors for free.
The 105 participants (from 25 different countries) want to address themselves to all the public. That has lasted for 5 years.
According to an estimate of 2010, approximately 20% neophytes comes to visit the operas during the event.
During two days, their wishes are to put close to a whole a kind still perceived by much like elitist. The financial obstacle is the most important brake for 88% of the public of “Tous à l’Opéra”, noted the ROF in a study conducted in 2010.
The participative dimension of the operation is particularly put ahead this year. The spectator is invited to take part in workshops of song, of dance,to contribute and play. Here, the young public is particularly targeted : the team wishes “to sensitizeit with the nuances of the lyric art”.
In France, 29 operas open their door for free this weekend. The soprano Nathalie Manfrino, godmother of the event this year, will offer two concerts : one at the “Théâtre des Champs-Elysées” and the other at the “Opera de Massy”.

Coming again, two last battles before the designation of the winners on Saturday, 7 mai.lon category.
It is now ten years since the battles there, and they went to Miami, New York, Brooklyn in 2010 but Barcelona and Paris so this year. The goal is to “bring art to the public”, explains Sean Bono, and create a democratic system that selects the best on their skills, talents and tastes as the public. ”
Congratulations to the French public, which it considers particulèrement versed in the art: “the public is more demanding and more critical here. We feel they understand more quickly, they have a better artistic culture. There is so much art in Paris! And people also seem better educated, “enthuses Sean Bono.
